No milkweeds, no monarchs!

Our mission is to use citizen volunteers to assess the suitability of native milkweeds for home gardens and restoration of monarch butterfly habitat in northern and central AZ. We also are determining the suitability of native milkweeds for monarch butterflies. We grow and distribute milkweeds to volunteer gardeners who agree to test them in their home gardens and collect critical data on growth, survival and use by monarch butterflies. We sell milkweeds to botanical gardens, conservation and restoration projects, garden clubs, and commercial nurseries for public distribution. Increasing the use of milkweeds by home gardeners we believe is a critical step in the conservation of the imperiled monarch butterfly and serves as an addition to other conservation efforts.
